Nigel Croser is a prolific children’s author with a remarkable output of titles. While his principal publisher is Era Publications, he has also been published by Collins. His many titles cover fiction, nonfiction and poetry in picture books and classroom readers, which he has written and sometimes photographed as well.
Nigel is the creator of Max the Sheep, who has become a very popular part of the WINGS series. This farmyard character is adventurous, fun-loving, mischievous and always coming out of any situation with a smile on his face.
Nigel is the Deputy Principal of a private school. He lives with his wife and co-author, Josephine Croser, on a small farm near Milang in South Australia, with alpacas, sheep, miniature horses and various breeds of chickens, ducks and geese. He is also a consultant in natural farming in conjunction with his commercial-scale worm farming operation. All of this is part of the stimulus for his writing both fiction and nonfiction.
